- First, start with seasoning the mackerel with salt, pepper, olive oil and other seasonings of choice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- When heated properly, add olive oil. Add mackerel to the pan and turn the heat to medium low. Fry for 3-5 minutes (this depends on the fish, pan and heat size).
- When done, fry the other side of the fish similarly.
Serve fresh, matches perfect with a green salad and lemon dressing.
